Ive seen you hiding in there among the costumes hanging silent from the ceiling Swimming silent water fish with lights there contains strobe light in the moon You look so strange at me you talk so different now Can you help me forget? I trust your abilities to see trough me now and then and let me pass this way again

about

The first album of Amun Halan is recorded in scattered pieces from summer 2011 to the last finish in April 2012. It was completed and released the 28th of April. It is also available in physical form but in extremely limited edition.
Joikasaker starts quite quite with acoustic guitar and cake box drums. There is some joik there as well.
The album has three parts. The first is from "Måkeheimen" to "Grand Vinale". This is the acoustic part with some almost singer-songwriter style. The next part is the instrumental intuned piano sonate "Non Animus Video". Then it evolves into a darker soundscape with the third part and the almost 8 minute long "Polize" which takes this atmosphere to its highest peak. Joikasaker ends more softly and returns to the half broken piano..
The cover art is made by the photographer Tove Rogstad.
